Average temperatures forecast for today are slightly (within one degree) lower than those forecast yesterday for today. Skies will be mostly clear across New England as high pressure dominates the area. Winds will be from the west at 10 to 15 mph. High temperatures will range from the low 70's in the north to the low 80's in the south. Coastal temperatures will be moderate, with cooling ocean breezes. Forecasted Boston temperatures are tracking even with those forecast yesterday for today, with a high of 76 expected around 3 PM. Hartford's forecasted temperatures are one to two degrees lower today than those forecast yesterday, for a high of 81 between 3 and 4 PM.

EnvaPower's peak demand forecast is 16,970 MW and our average demand over the peak period is 16,229 MW. This peak demand is about 600 MW higher than Monday's actual peak demand. The forecast of average demand is over 500 MW higher than Monday's actual average demand.
